The boys loved riding their bikes around the camp ground as well as throwing rocks in the creek/river. I don't quite know what to call it, too big for a creek but too small for a river. There was a lot of evidence of the flood though with trees pushed over and sticks and twigs up high in the tops of the branches from when the flood came through. What a sight that must have been.
The boys were keen on collecting the kindling and were rewarded with roasting marshmallows.
See for yourself with all those smiling faces!
Checking out the new tent.
The bike riding is a highlight! They couldn't get enough of it.
Lochy loves his bike riding and he is pretty good at it too.
Setting up the camp site
Testing out the water, surprisingly cool.
Trying to make the biggest splash. See how many tree's have been knocked down from the flood. Amazing!
Happy and relaxing all he needs is a fishing rod to make the picture complete.
Gav is fascinated at breaking the rocks and seeing what they look like inside.
The boys are always happy to lend a hand to keep the fire going.
We had a visiting Kookaburra that thankfully it didn't steal our sausages!
The Goanna only came to visit when we were away from our camp site.
They are the biggest lizard I have ever come close to in the wild!
And of course a visit to the park in Kenilworth complete with icecream from the cheese factory.
