Eurimbula National Park Camping trip Dec 2015 - Jan 2016

Hi everyone,

Sorry its been so long but getting back to working again Monday to Friday really took some getting used to!  I do miss my blogging though so I thought I'd start with the beginning of this year.

Usually over the summer school holidays we'll go camping.  This time we went beach camping again to Eurimbula National Park.  We had some friends join us as well. It was their first time camping there and we all had a hoot.  We were there for New Years so I guess our camping trip really started in Dec 2015 and carried over to Jan 2016.

Our first night there we did start out with a large amount of rain.  Of course when I helped to tip it out I ended up with all that rain there in the tarp...yup, all over me!  Ben had the good spot UNDER the tarp.  At least it was warm! 

After that luckily with weather fined up and we enjoyed relaxing on the beach.  Even making friends with the locals!

 It looks amazing on the beach at night.  No light pollution since we are so far away from any town. 
Its pitch black and the stars look so bright.

Our friends arrived a couple of days later.  We went looking for bait to have a go at fishing.

Just in time for New Years Eve! It was a little windy in the morning, perfect for flying a kite.

 Then we went for a walk to look at the view.  That the ocean beach we were just on way over there in the distance!

New Years day was a gorgeous one too
