  1. Hi Dina
    I am sure you could make it with sliced potato or sweet potato or pumpkin or some combo on top rather than the mashed veggies.
    May need to cook longer and perhaps try steaming or microwaving the sliced veggies first before layering on top.

    You know when you make scalloped potatoes/potato bake it takes forever.

    You may also want to up the liquid a little in the meat base to help the sliced veggies cook??? I dont know it is well worth the experiment though.

    1. Thanks, I will precook the sliced potatoes. Despite the photo I am not a keen cook, especially for fussy eaters! I'll keep an eye out for your recipes and let you know how this one goes. I plan on trying it this week.
